Trudeau jumping into Whitby-Oshawa byelection PM joining Premier Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals for rally

TORONTO – The Liberal election team of Premier Kathleen Wynne and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ride again.
Ontario Liberals hope Trudeau’s presence at a campaign rally next week will help win over Whity-Oshawa byelection
voters who have sent Progressive Conservatives to Queen’s Park for years.
Premier Kathleen Wynne and Trudeau will lead a rally in the riding Tuesday, two days before voters head to the polls
to replace former PC MPP Christine Elliott.
There are ten candidates in the byelection including Liberal Elizabeth Roy, Progressive Conservative Lorne Coe,
NDP’s Niki Lundquist and Green Party’s Stacey Leadbetter.
During last fall’s federal campaign, Wynne campaigned vigorously for Trudeau and against former PM Stephen
Harper, an unusual move for a sitting Premier.
